About Me
Hailing from sunny Fairfield County, Connecticut, Elias Levy is a classically-trained tenor with a voice that "will melt your heart" (OperaMetro). Familiar with both the musical theatre and operatic repertoires, Elias has performed in both genres with companies across Connecticut and New York. He is excited to further explore contemporary opera, and his hope is to one day originate a role. Elias's passion for the stage began on his elementary school's auditorium podium with a spirited rendition of "Who's On First" -- thankfully, he's grown just a little bit taller and louder since. He is currently pursuing a degree in Vocal Performance and studies in the studio of Roy Mazzacane.
In addition to performing, Elias also enjoys work out of the spotlight; he served as a cameraman and A/V editor for the premiere of Hedda Freeman, Kamilah Bush's modernized adaptation of Ibsen's Hedda Gabler, and he was the lead A/V editor for his COVID-semester opera, Michael Ching's Speed Dating Tonight!.
Elias could have been seen most recently playing Pirelli in Sweeney Todd at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre in Bridgeport, CT from Sep. 13 through Oct. 13.
An up-to-date copy of Elias's performance resumé can be found on the "Gallery" page.
